Hello and welcome to Coming to Balance. I’m so glad you dropped in.

Coming to Balance is a space where everyone is invited to stop and ponder about yourself, life and everything in the Universe. We explore questions like what it means to be human, how we are connected to everything and everyone around us, and how we can be happy and fulfilled, to name a few.

Maybe you are a bit like me and also have this nagging feeling that something in our lives is fundamentally wrong. You may feel disconnected and lost and no matter how much you try to distract yourself, this feeling doesn’t seem to go away. There is this yearning for something and you can’t quite put your finger on what it is exactly.

In my personal quest for this elusive something I’ve noticed that when we move from constantly doing and thinking to experiencing and being we start truly listening and feeling. We then realise that we’re constantly looking for happiness, peace and joy. We are constantly looking for balance, which is our nature. We are constantly looking for our true selves. Our true selves are calling us to return back what is rightfully ours, our natural way of being where we know ourselves and accept who we are, living in harmony with everyone and everything around us.

This space is a glimpse of what has always been inside us but got obscured by thoughts and beliefs that do not belong to us but which, when left unquestioned, feel very close and real to us. They feel they are us but this is simply not true.

This space is created so that we can question what is not true and return to what is real. It is devoted to our lives in this Universe and touches a bit of everything. Feel free to dive in and explore this space as needed. You may feel inclined to start with healing your inner world of thoughts, feelings and emotions, filling your heart to the fullest with self-love and acceptance. As our hearts get full we let them pour out onto everything around us and then naturally want to bring balance to the lives of our close ones. We spread that desire further onto others whose lives we can touch with kindness and understanding. We then grow and expand further and start healing our homes, our communities and our Planet.

This yearning for balance leads us further to a space where

  • we build our relationships with one another not out of fear, dominance and manipulation but out of cooperation based on total respect for everyone’s freedom.
  • we serve as guardians for this Planet, our home, rather than exploiting and destroying it.
  • animal and plant kingdoms are that – kingdoms – to be revered and respected and not treated as our commodities.

Guided by this yearning, we follow our path towards a more natural and humble way of living and as we do we heal ourselves, our human, animal and plant friends as well as our Planet.

As we start living with understanding, humility and gratitude, we start coming to balance.

Wishing you a safe and blissful journey!

Yours,
Maria
